Windows TAP driver WHQL test passed?

Post by boilerman » Wed Dec 30, 2015 9:02 pm

Hi, folks,

I'd like to know whether the Windows TAP drivers can pass WHQL test.
I mean, Do the Windows TAP drivers have any problem to pass WHQL test?
FYI, I have much experiences completing some WHQL tests.

BTW, I am afraid that this is not the right place to ask this question. Right?

Thanks in advance.

As I understand it, the TAP Driver (Windows) Developers maintain WHQL Test compatibility ..
But due to the cost and that the code is open source, they do not sign the driver.

Hello all,
is there a status update for this topic? Microsoft restricted there driver installation, especially on Secure Boot. At the moment, older certificates are accepted, but I think the time is running out.
So it would be nice to know, if the TAP Driver get a Windows signing in the future.
