dev/net/tun: Is a directory (errno=21)

Hello,

I am using openvpn client on a QNAP nas but everytime when i try to setup the connection i get:

Code: Select all

ERROR: Cannot open TUN/TAP dev /dev/net/tun: Is a directory (errno=21)
Tried mknod /dev/net/tun c 10 200 after removing tun in the /dev/net directory. changed permissions chmod 0666 /dev/net/tun but no joy.

I am puzzled, so please help me, whats wrong?
