I am trying to configure a LinkSys LRT214 Gigabit VPN Router that supports being used as an OpenVPN server.
I have used their directions on how to create my .OVPN file. I have been able to import my .OVPN file into the OpenVPN connect client. When I try to connect, I look at the statistics menu and I see packets going out but no packets coming in.
On my Linksys VPN router, I have tcp and udp 1194 ports open.
Using Wireshark, I see the following messages:
OpenVPN MessageType : P_CONTROL_HARD_RESET_CLIENT_v2
Malformed packet.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Error: P_CONTROL_HARD_RESET_CLIENT_v2

Hello Valiant,
Can you try with Tunnelblick instead and see how that goes?
Also try to reach out to LinkSys support.
Kind regards,
Johan
