macOs Big Sur: tray icon is black

Post by RetepV » Thu Mar 18, 2021 8:51 am

Hi,

Thanks for the new update. I like that you ported the iOS UI (or possibly made a universal app ;)) to macOS.

However... The tray icon is black, and is near invisible in the top bar. :) Can you fix that in the next version?

Cheers,
Peter

Hello RetepV,

In the upcoming major v3.3 release, among other things, the icons should also get a facelift. So that should address your suggestion.

Kind regards,
Johan

I have 2 screens, and see that on my laptop screen, the top bar is actually white and semi-transparent. On my external screen, the top bar has a kind of slate color. This might be because I have set a background image for my external screen.

Ah yes, I am able to confirm that the top bar changes color according to the color(s) of the desktop background image. Probably some smart algorithm there, or maybe even Apple showcasing some of their machine learning capabilities.

Good luck!

Is the option to display the connection timer in the menu coming back? My users really miss that...
