Help with OpenVPN, iPhone and Netgear Nighthawk.

Hi all! Hoping you can be of some help.

I am using a Netgear Nighthawk R7000 and using the most current firmware.

I have set up the built in VPN and I'm using the included Dynamic IP from NoIP.

On my computer, the VPN is running beautifully. I downloaded the OpenVPN configuration files for "non-windows" and it just worked .

I got the OpenVPN app for my iPhone 7 (running latest firmware) and I connect it to iTunes, add the "for Smartphone" configuration files, save, open OpenVPN, it sees the files, I add the VPN configuration and my iPhone connects to my home network, the IP address checks out, but Safari websites do not load and the OpenVPN traffic monitor shows I'm only taking in bytes per second, like 106 b/s down.

Any help would be much appreciated. I am not SUPER technical so not sure what I should be doing to make this work correctly.
