Greetings,
I have been running OpenVPN Connect on a Chromebook for a couple years with no problems. Now there's a problem after an update. The successfuly established connection locks up after 2 minutes. OpenVPN Connect thinks it is fine and there is nothing in OpenVPN logs that shows the lock up. However it is consistent, whether connecting through airport or hotel LAN, home LAN, phone hotspot, etc. Doesn't matter what network I am on. Two minutes of connection it locks. If I disconnect OpenVPN the regular networking of the Chromebook is fine, no need to reconnect wifi or anything. My gut says ChromeOS is blocking OpenVPN Connect or something but I have no proof...yet.
Device: Chromebook
OS: Version 75.0.3770.88 (Official Build) beta (64-bit)
OpenVPN Connect: Version 3.0.5.(1816) downloaded from Google Play Store
Note: The same .ovpn file used works fine on iOS OpenVPN, MacOS Tunnelblick and Linux Openvpn clients. Same .ovpn file was working on this Chromebook until recent powerwash and reinstall/update.
Android: ChromeOS/Chromebook VPN locks up after 2 minutes, no logs
