Admob not showing ads after connected to VPN server

Hi guys,

I am using one of the popular openVPN android clients cloned from https://github.com/MaxSmile/EasyVPN-Free

With author's consent, I integrated Google Admob into my little education project. The VPN client shows both banner and interstitial ads successfully on launch.

HOWEVER, when the VPN client establishes connection with VPN server, no banners or interstitial ads are shown.

I have verified that through VPN connection, the device and access all google websites. But the VPN Client itself cannot get ads.

Can anyone share some guidance on how to troubleshoot or resolve the issue?

Hello,
As I read Admob not showing ads when you connected your network with a VPN server.
Actually, it happens due to the previous developer, I think he stops all the ads on the open VPN.
I suggest you download the android application from Google play Becuase sometimes free is worst than a paid one.
