XWRT-Vortex / Netgear R7000 / Galaxy S8 issues .... maybe IPv4 vs IPv6 related?

Hi all,

Have had an OpenVPN server running on my Netgear R7000 router for the last year or so. Use it primarily to access IVMS-4500 for my security cams.

For some reason a few days ago I am no longer able to connect to IVMS-4500 (or any local IP address for that matter) via my Samsung Galaxy S8. My Galaxy S6 works just fine with OpenVPN.

I haven't changed anything which is odd, but believe there was a security patch that came out for the S8 recently (well, May 1). Basically the connection times out.

I think I may have narrowed it down to being connected via UDPv6? My Galaxy S6 says it connects via UDPv4 protocal, whereas my S8 seems to use UDPv6 and has issues timing out.

Admittedly I have no idea how to fix this at this point, have tried several different settings in my S8 as well as my Router to no avail.

Any help would be appreciated, very much a newb to working with these issues, especially since it just seems to have started out of the blue.

Thanks!
