Problems accessing internet when OpenVPN is disconnected

Hi, a newbie, please go easy on me!

I'm using latest version of OpenVPN on 4.2.2

I have occasion to connect to web services on my phone without a VPN - for example a subscription to Last.fm means I have to be seen as being in the UK otherwise they won't let me use the service. The problem is that when I disconnect OpenVPN I can't then use the internet.

I'm not sure to go about finding out what the solution might be.

Any help would be much appreciated.
