Cannot login with Chrome on OS X

Despite numerous reboots, clearing the cache etc etc, I simply cannot login with Chrome on OS X.
The error returned, no matter how long I wait etc, is: "Forbidden. You submitted too quickly. You may try again in a few seconds."
I'm now using Safari without issue.
