Client will not open maximized, cannot enter credentials

Hello, I am hoping someone here can assist. I have a Windows 7 64 bit system I have Windows 3.0.5419.0 version of the Open VPN installed. I have removed the client and re-installed, I have removed the client and removed registry settings I thought might hold information about the settings. I have also removed any AppData files that I thought might be holding information. After each attempt I launch the client and a reduced window shows and I cannot enter credentials. Any assistance you can provide will be very much appreciated.
