Error when installing OpenVPN (Cannot create scripts)

Post by stevenl » Fri Jun 15, 2012 10:50 pm

So installed OpenVPN on a CentOS 5.8 64 bit server.

I run the rpm -i command to install and everything seems to go ok.

I then load the configuration system using the /usr/local/openvpn_as/bin/ovpn-init option,

I input all the information and everything goes through at the end it processes the information but stops at this point:

Getting web user account...
Adding web group account...
Adding web group...
Adjusting license directory ownership...
Initializing confdb...
Generating init scripts...
Generating PAM config...
Generating init scripts auto command...
Error: Could not execute command to generate startup/shutdown scripts

Any suggestions?
