Open vpn configuration

Hey guys
Im a newbie to this and have a simple question, maybe with all u tech guys can get a simple solution.
I installed openvpn and managed to get some profile so i can connecto to. So far all went ok. I connected toa uk ip.
Now the problem is when i desconnect. My normal IP comes back on. When i try to connect again i cant never get back uk IP.
If i un istall app and re install it then i can get things goin again.
Need some help here to get things smoother
