Logging on after disconnect

Post by Zibeo » Tue Sep 27, 2011 10:24 am

Sometimes my OpenVPN client running on Windows 7 doesn't reconnect after my internet goes down. I've added persist-key and persist-tun to the openvpn config file, but sometimes I lost the connection. I end up having to go to the location of the disconnected to computer and the OpenVPN client shows an error saying that it's disconnected.

I've also set the OpenVPN Access Client service to restart after a failure in the Windows 7 services menu.

Am I missing something? I need OpenVPN to reconnect automatically after a network failure or disconnection. Is there a command line command I can run that will connect to the VPN? I don't mind having a command run every minute to start up openvpn.
