I have two Access Servers running 1.7.1. I upgrade both to 1.8.0 shortly after the update was released. I have since downgraded due to issues with the Mac OpenVPN Connect client software.
Without providing any logs, are there any known issues with 1.8.0? I have 8 users on Macs (on two different Access Servers with different configs) and all had an issue where OpenVPN Connect was very slow to respond. Clicking on the client would take about 30 seconds to respond and then another 30 seconds to click the connect menu option. Connecting was never successful due to the lag.
I am about 3 weeks away from being able to grab any logs (not a Mac user myself) but before I troubleshoot further it would be good to know of any other experiences people have with laggy client software.
1.7.1 is running perfectly in the meantime
