[resolved] Subnet Conflicts

Post by Whitestarb5 » Wed Dec 28, 2011 10:15 pm

We have just install Access Server and I think encountered what must be a fairly classic problem. The network in the office is on the 192.168.1.0/24 subnet as is almost every client that connects.

Whilst pushing the DHCP and DNS to Windows clients helps somewhat for Mac/Linux users you have to manually add a route over the Access Server gateway to an office resource in order to connect.

Now short of creating a new subnet in the office is there anything we have overlooked in the set up?

You can change office network IPs, or use netmask in AS from command line: http://www.openvpn.net/index.php/open-s ... range.html

Thank you Mimiko, the iptables command in the link you submitted works very well.
