Unbale to access Internet with 'Have clients use the same DNS servers as the Access Server host'

Hi All,

we have upgraded the Access server OS from Ubuntu 16.04 to 20.04, After that, we are able to connect to VPN but not accessing the internet. So we have changed the DNS setting to use 'Have clients use specific DNS servers' with google DNS (8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4). Internet is working now, but not accessing internal servers with hostnames (we are connecting with private IPS). Please suggest what changes need to do to access the servers with hostnames.

Hello srihari,

Sounds to me like all you need to do is find out what the IP address of your internal DNS server is, and configure that as a DNS server to push to your VPN clients.

Kind regards,
Johan
