My OpenVPN AS is on the same VPC as my AD and I have the LDAP ports opened, but I cannot seem to authenticate any users with LDAP. I am using my AD's DNS addresses as the primary and secondary servers in the AS admin panel. I'm using the user DN that I got from running `dsquery user -name existingName`, I set up a bind user (as_bind_user) and I am trying to use those credentials in the admin panel. It looks like everything is set up correctly, yet I cannot authenticate any users in my AD.
What am I doing wrong?

Hello aboutros,
Not sure what you are doing wrong. It's hard to have a complete picture just from this information. But the DNS servers have nothing to do with this.
Try using the troubleshooting guide here, particular the use of authcli to get more output from failures:
https://openvpn.net/vpn-server-resource ... -problems/

I'm still alive, just posting under the openvpn_inc alias now as part of a larger group.
