I admit while I am experienced in IT, most of my experience is in the support side so I'm moving into unfamiliar territory.
My goal is to run an OpenVPN server at our firehouse so certain members can do things from home, like update our road sign.
I downloaded the OpenVPN Access Server Hyper-V and configured it. I configured the firewall to forward ports 443 and 1194. I was able to make a connection.
Our main DHCP server assigns IPs in the range of 10.1.10.1/24 It is on a different VM than the OpenVPN Access Server.
Our Unifi Security Gateway has a built in L2TP VPN which assigns ips in the 10.2.10.1/24 range.
I wanted to configure the OpenVPN to do 10.3.10.1/24.
I set the VPN server to allow access to 10.1.0.0/24 but I can't do anything once I connect. Can't browse the web, can't do RDP, nothing.
What am I missing? Probably something super simple. I tried allowing 10.1.10.1/24 but it said "Non-Canonical IP"
I can connect to the server but can't go anywhere
