New Install Configuration Issue

Greetings,

I am new to OpenVPN Server and I am having an issue on the initial config.

When I get to the "Do you wish to login to the Admin UI as openvpn?", I select no so I can create a new user. I type in the user name and hit Enter. The same line asking me to enter a new user name appears. It does not progress to entering a password for the new user.

I am installing as a VM on a ESXi 6.5

Any suggestions?

This is a known problem that will be resolved in 2.7.5. Sorry about that. Just continue with the standard name and then later add your own admin user.

I had to do some Googling because I am completely unfamiliar with Linux command line, but got it working.
