Android Oreo can't install Certificate

Post by popchau » Sat Dec 29, 2018 9:01 am

Hey there,

I wanted to use OpenVPN to build a secure connection to my home network. I've exported all the profiles and certificates from my server, and now I added the profile to the OpenVPN app. Now when I try to connect it tells me to select a certificate, which I tried to do. But when I try to install a certificate it just installs it and tells me "certificate installed". When I take a look at all my custom certificates the list is empty though. I've already tried restarting the device, but this didn't work either. I also tried to install the certificate from the file manager directly, but this didn't work either.

I'm using a OnePlus 3 on Android 8.0 with the OpenVPN Connect - Fast & Safe SSL VPN Client App.
