OpenVPN-AS build for openssl 1.1.1

My system is a Centos 6X based server. I currently have OpenVPN-AS installed and it works fine. However, I have installed the latest OpenSSL 1.1.1 version from source on the system and would like to reinstall OpenVPN-AS with support for this latest OpenSSL version which has some speed and security improvements. How can I do this?
