I just upgraded from 2.0.12 to 2.5 OpenVPN AS and I cannot start either VM. All I see is a ucarp segfault in the /var/log/messages. I am at the latest of CentOS 6.0.
root@TE-paz-vpn-1 log]# rpm -q openvpn-as
openvpn-as-2.5-CentOS6.9.x86_64
root@TE-paz-vpn-1 log]# service openvpnas start
Starting openvpnas [ OK ]
root@TE-paz-vpn-1 log]# tail /var/log/messages

Re: Uprgade AS 2.0.12 to 2.5 - ucarp segfault
Kindly go back to 2.1.12. This is a known issue that is being investigated that affects some of our customers.
I'm still alive, just posting under the openvpn_inc alias now as part of a larger group.

They are VMs so reverting back to 2.0.12 is very quick.

Alright, good to hear. You can still upgrade to 2.1.12 though. That was the latest version before 2.5.
In a future release we hope to have this issue located and resolved, but it's apparently a pretty gnarly and difficult to pin down issue that doesn't always occur.

We have upgraded to 2.1.12 including CentOS 6.9 and all seems ok thus far. Is there an issue # for the problem affecting version 2.5?
