Hi folk,
I'm trying to figure out how (or if it's even possible) to connect to a remote client from the local LAN side.
For example:
I have a NAS at a mates house, for the purpose of offsite backups. At my place, I have an OpenVPN server running. Rather than fuss about opening ports on my mate's modem, I want to just have the NAS connect to my VPN at home, then I can access it across the VPN connection.
Is it a pipe dream?

Re: Connect back through VPN to client
Since you're posting in the forum for the OpenVPN Access Server commercial VPN server product, I'm assuming you have that product installed. If so, see this page;

I'm still alive, just posting under the openvpn_inc alias now as part of a larger group.

Ah, I see. I've posted in the wrong area. I'll repost it in the community section.
