So, on a freebsd 11 server I have openvpn 2.4.4 installed, and current easyrsa3 installed and following some instructions for 10.3 I jumped through these hoops a half dozen times now and I can't get OpenVPN to run,
Logs say no ta.key file, fatal error, aborting.
but running the command I thought was supposed to make the key, wont seem to work.
# /usr/local/etc/openvpn # openvpn --genkey --secret /etc/openvpn/easy-rsa/keys/ta.key
Thu Nov 30 10:06:05 2017 Cannot open shared secret file '/etc/openvpn/easy-rsa/keys/ta.key' for write: No such file or directory (errno=2)
Thu Nov 30 10:06:05 2017 Exiting due to fatal error
at this point I'm not sure if I'm being an idiot or if somethings not right, any ideas on what to try?
