doubts about reroute traffic using open vpn

hello

i have a doubt about how to configure open vpn

i want to reroute the traffic of my vps to my vm

the configuration is:

install vpn server on the vps and vpn client on the vm

i access to the vps using the vm

in this case is a client of the vpn it can be used like a gateway

i would like to know the iptables and ip route configuration..

i'm using like a vps ( a debian 6.0) and the vm has mint 18.2

is there any tutorial about this type of configuration ?
