I cannot install the version OpenVPN-2.5-beta3-I602-amd64.msi I always get the following error message:
Code: Select all
Error 2551. OpenVPNMSICA: tap_set_adapter_name: Error renaming adapter Error 1: Unzulässige Funktion.

I use Windows 10 2004 (Build 19041.450) 64bit german.

There is a GitHub issue about this:
We need a bit more info to fix the problem. It does not happen consistently on every install, but I was able to get the same error as you.

I could now install OpenVPN-2.5-beta3-I602-amd64.msi, but I don't know why.
I uninstalled and reinstalled all network drivers before. Maybe it has something to do with that. Unfortunately I can't tell you more about it at the moment.

I have the same error!
I think a windows update was break the networks adapters.
