Multiple Wintun interfaces

Post by SerGay » Sat Dec 07, 2019 12:15 pm

Hello.

I decided to test new 2.5 branch with Wintun driver. But I need more than one connection. With TAP, it was possible to add an additional addapter with a single batch file.

How can I increase the number of Wintun network interfaces?

Hi,

The very latest version from https://staging.openvpn.net/openvpn2/ (it got updated time to time) should support multiple connections via multiple wintun interfaces.

To add another wintun adapter, run from administrative command prompt:
c:\Program Files\OpenVPN\bin>tapctl.exe create --hwid wintun
You could start as much VPN connection as many wintun adapters you have.
