Server Upgrades December 3, 2019

Post by ecrist » Wed Dec 04, 2019 2:44 am

Hello Folks!

Server has been up/down lately due to a full disk and some needed software upgrades.

I've done some work on the server itself, but the forum software is due for an upgrade, along with some of the plugins we use. Expect some evening-hours interruptions (Central Standard Time) in the coming days.

v6 isn't working. ping6 works, tcp/80 or 443 fails. Firewall rules?

From my end at least I can confirm that the firewalls on the infrastructure platform where the forums run are definitely not blocking ipv6 ports TCP 80 or TCP 443. So if there is a blockade I assume it is web server config or firewall in the OS itself.
