The OpenVPN community project team is proud to release OpenVPN 2.5.5. The most notable changes are Windows-related: use of CFG Spectre-mitigations in MSVC builds, bringing back of OpenSSL config loading and several build fixes. More details are available in

Dear samuli, I've noticed this version has been removed from the downloads page.
Is there anything wrong with it? Should the community rollback the upgrade?
Thanks,
Enrique

OpenVPN 2.5.5 is the official release but strange gremlins rolled the page back in time to version 2.5.4
It is under investigation..

Hey, unfortunately repository for Debian Buster also lacks the 2.5.4 and 2.5.5 packages.
As I can see Ubuntu (all versions) has packages for all releases.
It would be great to have all repositories with synchronized versions. Thanks in advanced!

Unfortunately, due to the season and other factors, the full repo update to 2.5.5 has stalled.
It is still, very much, a priority for Openvpn to get this completely resolved.

Sorry guys, it's now mid February and Debian has still the old version 2.5.4. Are there any plans to update Bulleye's repo? Thanks

Hi Samuli,
BTW your template for these announcements needs to be updated. The freenode IRC network basically ceased to exist last June. The channel is #openvpn at irc://irc.libera.chat . (I know you know this, but your template does not. Maybe it can be fixed just in time for 2.5.6?

)
regards, rob0
