In my short term experience using OpenVPN, what drives me away from it is the absence of a killswitch feature which disconnects you from the internet entirely whenever you lose connection to a VPN server. When using OpenVPN, my connection often dies without warning, leaving my browsing unencrypted (How does anybody cope with that?).
In addition to a killswitch, I believe the app also needs the capability to automatically detect the currently fastest server for a given VPN service and connect to it accordingly.
Thank you.

Re: KIllswitch & auto server switching
It's true that these functions could help! I've recently started using OpenVPN and am entirely satisfied, but this would actually make it even better.

I basically registered, to say this
- Killswitch for internet connection and/or certain applications
- Autostart- and connect on system start or login (to pre-determined or last used server)
