(Windows) OpenVPN GUI and wheel-scroll?

This is where we can discuss what we would like to see added or changed in OpenVPN.

(Windows) OpenVPN GUI and wheel-scroll?

Post by Frendreks » Fri Mar 02, 2018 5:27 pm

Hi there.
1st, Thank you Devs so much for this absolutely mandatory VPN solution.. Can not live without.

Using Windows version of (openvpn-install-2.4.5-I601.exe) openVPN, GUI v11.10.0.
I have A lot of VPN access points on the list and I would like to wish for mouse wheel enabled list scrolling.

When User right-clicks on the sysTray icon, a VPN AP list is shown. I have arrows on bottom indicating that the list goes on. Settings and about are down there. The mouse wheel now does not do anythinh while hovering on top of the list.. Could that move the listview?

Thank you.

Quoting the developer of the GUI:
sevla nair wrote:Menus as such do not support scrolling. Though it may be possible to hack up something, a proper solution would need to use a different UI to list the configs instead of the current popup menu. That's a major overhaul.
So it is not going to be changed any time soon ..
