Show gui when started as service?

This is where we can discuss what we would like to see added or changed in OpenVPN.

Show gui when started as service?

Post by elementalwindx » Thu Sep 14, 2017 4:31 am

I've got my openvpn (using sophos) to connect via editing the service with regedit to --connect ***.ovpn, before the user passes the login screen. It connects perfectly and works great, but I'd like to get their gui to load in the system tray showing the user that it is actually in fact connected.

How can I achieve this?
Is it possible to get it to display in the login screen on windows 10 like they do the wifi connection status?

Thanks. :)

Is there an ideas section where this can be added to it for future updates?
