I realize I could relax the general rule, but is there a way to eliminate the message for just OpenVPN?Do you want to allow the following program from an
unknown publisher to make changes to this computer
Program name: openvpn-gui.exe

Here are 2 possible solutions:
http://msmvps.com/blogs/russel/archive/ ... ation.aspx
and
http://www.vista4beginners.com/Disable- ... plications
But I haven't tested either so try at your own risk!

Re: Windows 7 User Account Control Warning on each boot up?
I found a lot of results on Google. Maybe this will help ...
http://www.google.co.uk/search?sourceid ... =p&pdl=500
That reminds me, I need to disable this for 2 programs on my windows machine.
Hope that helps. Again, I've not tested anything. It's worth noting that disabling any sort of access control does decrease security, but you're probably aware of that.

Re: Windows 7 User Account Control Warning on each boot up?
Windows 7 makes it much easier to deal with UAC settings, and in fact you don’t have to completely disable UAC if you don’t want to. Just type UAC into the start menu or Control Panel search box.
You can simply drag the slider up or down, depending on how often you want to be alerted.
If you drag it all the way down to the bottom, you’ll have disabled it entirely.
Hope this will help you.

Found this, hope it helps, straight from MS http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/wind ... 95bf1c519d . Seems to be the same for both Vista and Windows 7
