What DNS is used when connected thought openVPN

I wanna know if openVPN does have his own DNS when is activated the VPN or it is used the internet provider's DNS under which it is connected?

you have not given enough information to answer this question, so i will assume a few things in order to attempt to give you the answer you want.

I will assume:

• -you are not pushing nameservers to the client
  -you are redirecting the client's internet-access to go through the server

In this situation, the client will continue to use the nameserver that it was using before openvpn was enabled. However, the nameserver will see the request as coming from the vpn server. This sometimes causes problems for users because they are using their ISP's nameserver, which does not accept requests from the vpn server. the solution for those people is to do one of the following:

• -Change the client to use a nameserver that responds to recursive dns queries from anyone
  -Set the vpn server to push a new nameserver to the client
