Problem with network mapping \\ paths

Post by hekl » Mon Aug 30, 2021 2:20 pm

Hi,
i have installed a OpenVPN Server and get connectet with Windows 10 OpenVPN Client.
This works fine, i can ping all devices in the Network, get Internet Access, can print.

But...there is a big problem, the Netzwork-Paths (eg. \\NAS\Music) doesn't work.
Im trying for days now.

Tryed to allow ICMP on Windows machine, nothing. Added routes in the server config, nothing. Set up a static route in the router for 10.8.0.0 to the VPN Server....nothing helps.

Whats wrong ?
Last time i tryet it works out of the box... this time i have no chance to get it to work.

Any ideas ?
How can i troubleshooting this under windows ?

Unfortunately that is not possible. The path is entered in several programs and the owner dont want to change them :(
