Windows networking issue when i do not disconnect OpenVPN client

Post by postcd » Wed May 26, 2021 10:35 am

Hello,

i am having problem where on Windows 7 SP1 computer un-suspending, most often the network is not working and the diagnostics says there is a router issue suggesting to restart router. I have to disable network interface, enable it again and then do diagnostics of the network (right click menu on network tray icon) which says that the Local Area Connection doesn't have valid IP and it resets the adapter and that fixes the issue.

But this issue does not happen when i disconnect the tunnel/connection to the OpenVPN server.
On previous OS installation (same OS) the issue not exist.

Faulty network card in your computer or outdated drivers
