openVPN doesn't start - maybe Tunnelblick 3.5.25 issue

Hi there,
I'm working on Mac, OS 10.6.8. and was successful in using NordVPN via manually configured Tunnelblick, version 3.5.25 for older Macs.
Just two days before the connectivity/VPN works fine, today the tunnelblick protocol says:

2020-01-17 00:27:58 *Tunnelblick: Attempting connection with nl119.nordvpn.com.tcp.ovpn; Set nameserver = 1; monitoring connection
2020-01-17 00:27:58 *Tunnelblick: openvpnstart start nl119.nordvpn.com.tcp.ovpn.tblk 1337 1 0 3 0 17202 -ptADGNWradsgnw 2.3.18
2020-01-17 00:28:45 *Tunnelblick:
Could not start OpenVPN (openvpnstart returned with status #-1)
Contents of the openvpnstart log:
De- and reinstalling tunnelblick didn't help. Same problem, same error message: can't start openVPN.
Any remarks or solutions?
