How to configure OpenVPN Server on Multi-WAN Tomato Router for specific VLAN (outgoing traffic)

Post by whitefish » Sat Apr 27, 2019 12:26 pm

I am running MultiWAN TomatoUSB on a Linksys E2500 router which has a built-in OpenVPN server. I have configured two WAN ports, vlan2 and vlan3 respectively.

How do I configure the built-in OpenVPN server such that outgoing (tunneled) traffic will go through vlan3 port? Clients will connect via vlan2 port.

Client -> vlan2 WAN port -> OpenVPN server/Tomato -> vlan3 WAN port

Can this bet set as an advanced setting or do I have to set up an iptables rule? What would such iptables rule look like?
