ESPN

Hi,

I’m not sure this is the right place for this question so let me know if I need to ask it somewhere else. I recently bought an asus rt-ac68u router to use as a vpn server and installed the openvpn app on all my devices. Everything seems to work fine except when I attempt to access ESPN from Germany. The ESPN app states that the content is not available in my country. How does ESPN know that I’m not in the US? I’m the only person who uses the vpn. Is there a setting that I can change that will allow me to view ESPN? Thanks for any help.
