Google Access in China Denied

I have clients that are starting to frequent china often. OpenVPN is working fine when accessing the server/mapped drives but access to google is still being denied. Is there any work-around for that with openvpn or will I have to look into 3rd party softwares?

can't you route all the traffic, including the DNS, over the VPN?

I would assume so. I setup the VPN in normal fashion is there additional configs needed to route more/all traffic?
