for added security (in an environment where it is critical no logs are kept and many servers exist to host vpn)
is it possible to somehow store openVPN on RAM?
i know this will delete the whole setup on reboot
but i was thinking if a cluster can be formed with a mother node that loads the vpn configuration on each of these servers on boot (via PXE/LAN)
what do some experts have to say here?
running a vpn server using ram (no hard drive on server)

Re: running a vpn server using ram (no hard drive on server)
You can do this pretty easily using a RAM disk on most Linux and BSD boxes. I'm sure Windows has a mechanism, as well, but I'm not familiar with it.
