Problems Pinging an non existing Host

Hello,
i have a big Problem with my nummerous openvpn connections:

my Roadwarrior has a working connection to an openvpn Server, both Windows Machines.

I use tun Network and Openvpn openvpn-install-2.4.4-I601.exe

Everything works fine, until i try to reach an non existing Host.
(my nas rebooted and the ajax website was waiting for recovery of the Drive, or i do simply an ping to an non existing host in the other network.)

in this case, the whole communication stucks...
MSTSC-Clients loose connection, all Pings raise to 2 or 3 seconds and so on,

Is this a bug or a misconfiguration?
