Been trying to set up my wrt3200 as an openwrt server.
I think I have the config files correct because I can log into the
server as it is setup on my desktop.
When I generate the .ovpen file from the wrt3200 openvpn server it does not
populate the .ovpn file with any data.
This is what I find in the ovpn file........

<cert>

# Auto-generated configuration file from Linksys12481

I have spent a lot to time with Linksys support and I think
they are as baffled as I am.
I am wondering if anyone has been successful setting up any of the
wrt routers mentioned above.
Especially the wrt3200
Thanks
Don

This process has nothing to do with openvpn what so ever .. it is completely Linksys problem.renzedg wrote: ↑Sat Sep 23, 2017 3:32 pmWhen I generate the .ovpen file from the wrt3200 openvpn server it does not

Openvpn does not generate any config files for you.

Re: Openvpn on linksys wrt1200-1900-3200
I thought that may be the case.
I really would like to make the wrt3200 act as an openvpn server but it does not look promising for current the Linksys firmware.
How well does the dd-wrt firmware work for the openvpn server ?

If you know the settings your server is using then it is simple enough to create a client profile.
