Sharing OpenVPN connection

Hi,
Sorry but this is a total newbie question I'm obliged to ask because I can't find the answer in the documentation, I'm sure it's there but I can't see it for looking!
What I want to do is connect asatellite receiver to the ethernet connection of a notebook pc (running Windows 7), which is an OpenVPN client connected to a remote OpenVPN server (in another country) so that the satellite receiver also uses the VPN connection.
I thought this would be possible using Internet Connection Sharing as it is with a normal VPN connection but I can't make it work.
Any help greatly appreciated.

you might need a bridge for this, unless you have the ability to add routes to the sat receiver
