Two OpenVPN tunnels on the same host connecting to the same Server

Post by sandman » Mon Jun 19, 2023 11:10 am

Hi,

My setup consists of two OpenVPN tun interfaces connecting to the same Server. They have different certs/usernames. The host is running Linux.

The issue is that UDP communication is possible from only one VPN tunnel interface at a time. The other VPN tunnel only works when the first VPN tunnel is turned off. The issue is more generic (not specifically to iperf), as I used my own custom UDP traffic generator and receiver and faced the same issue.

Is it possible to run two OpenVPN tun interfaces belonging to the same Server on the same host and have simultaneous communication to a remote peer on both interfaces?

Thanks,
S
