Can someone tell me what is the difference between the 2 iOS-Apps "Private Tunnel VPN" and "OpenVPN Connect"?
In the description of "Private Tunnel VPN" ist standing: "This is the iOS VPN client for the Private Tunnel VPN service. For connecting to non-Private Tunnel OpenVPN servers, please use OpenVPN Connect for iOS.
Now, what is the difference between a "private" and a "non-private" server?
I've been using "OpenVPN Connect" now for a few days with my private OpenVPN server, which is running on a Synology DS212j. In my opinion this is "private", but I'm running it with the "wrong" client, when I read the description of the app. But it's working fine, so can someone explain me, what exactly is the difference between the apps?
Difference iOS "Private Tunnel VPN" and "OpenVPN Connect"?

Ok, maybe I don't understand the expression correctly (I'm german). It's a little bit suspicious to me, that my "private" server is a "non-private" OpenVPN server...
Then I have another question:
In the *.ovpn-File I use with the app, there are the lines:
So I removed the "#" before "redirect-gateway".# If redirect-gateway is enabled, the client will redirect it's # default network gateway through the VPN.
# It means the VPN connection will firstly connect to the VPN Server # and then to the internet.
# (Please refer to the manual of OpenVPN for more information.)
#redirect-gateway
Does this mean now, that all what I'm doing in Internet, is going through my server? Is it not like that by default? How do I check, if it is working like that or not?
