Internet Speed issue
Hello,
I am again with a new problem regarding speed
OpenVPN TAP interface showing 10Mb connection, what does it mean?
Can we forced openVPN TAP to use fully LAN card available speed to give connected VPN session?
Regards,
Jebran.

Re: Internet Speed issue
Hello Douglas,
Thanks for advise, if the 10mbps are bogus number so kindly advise what possible factor can affect speed of OpenVPN clients.
I have tested from many ways, MS RRAS also configured on same server , I have dial PPTP,L2TP to this server test internet speed awesome through it.
Please advise.
Regards,
Jebran.

Re: Internet Speed issue
Cpu can be a limiter if you are using it on say, a raspberry pi. Your connection to the actual vpn can affect speed too.

Re: Internet Speed issue
CPU almost free at server side.Cpu can be a limiter if you are using it on say
When I try to download a file through PPTP speed was "2.8 or 2.5MB/sec" but when i tried the same thing from same location via OpenVPN speed was 190.4 or 184KB/sec it is big difference.Your connection to the actual vpn can affect speed too.

Re: Internet Speed issue
Dear Michael & Douglas,
To observe the speed issue I have found error on log "write TCPv4_SERVER: Connection reset by peer (WSAECONNRESET) (code=10054)"
Please advise possible reasons as well as best combination of MTU for windows.
Regards,
Jebran.

Hello lukit,
Thanks for the suggestion,
sndbuf 200000
rcvbuf 200000
You add only server side or both side? I fixed it by change server listening port TCP to UDP.
Regards,
Jebran.
