Sun Apr 02 04:06:01 2017 TLS Error: TLS object -> incoming plaintext read error
Sun Apr 02 04:06:01 2017 TLS Error: TLS handshake failed
i tried using udp, tcp, ddns and ip config files, same failure.
i even reinstalled the client to latest openvpn-install-2.4.1-I601.exe
pls help, im newbie, i need vpn to work for my fav online game

Hi, I am also seeing this same problem for a couple of days.jjohn wrote:The same problem for me since yesterday
Here is what I'm seeing in the log repeating over and over again:

Sometimes the log will stop with a different message. At that point it's hung and I have to disconnect to get out of the "frozen" state.
From the error, it seems that maybe one of the certificate authority systems in the chain has stopped working?

sjmyst

Re: vpngate - can't connect to any ovpn server today
is it too much for us to ask some knowledgeble moderator of this forum to explain the root cause of the issue?
PS: in the meantime if anybody needs urgently some temporary solution use some trialware vpn (i installed hide.me vpn, decent ping, no need for much traffic if you just playing a game, they give 2gb free traffic), theres others too like hotspotshield, etc.
anyone welcome to list other free alternatives

How should a moderator of this forum know anything about VPNGate servers ?at433 wrote:is it too much for us to ask some knowledgeble moderator of this forum to explain the root cause of the issue?
If you have a problem with a VPN Service provider then go ask the provider about it.
If you want to post your gripes here then go for it ..
But don't expect help from any forum moderators because that is not what they are here for.
This forum does not provide free support for any VPN Service providers !
