Can I Use OpenVPN Behind a Comcast Router

This may sound a bit naive, but I'm new to this so. I have my internet connection coming in through a comcast router. I have dynamic dns set up for various domain names using free dns. Is it possible to set up OpenVPN on my server locally, behind the comcast router and access the VPN from outside?

Yes, the router allows for port forwarding.
